2017 AWWA/WEF Utility Management Conference Set for February

Utility Management Conference 1Mark your calendars, utility administrators: the Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA; Denver, Colo.) announced that the annual 2017 Utility Management Conference will be held in Tampa, Fla., Feb. 710.

The conference, which has developed over the last 28 years into one of the most sought-after gatherings of utility leaders in the nation, will feature 38 professional sessions with topics ranging from leadership skills training, to innovation planning, to workforce development, and more.

This year, the AWWA/WEF Utility Management Conference will immediately follow the annual National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA; Washington, D.C.) Winter Conference, which will take place Feb. 47. The two events will both operate from the Marriott Waterside Hotel in Tampa, allowing attendees to maximize their conference experience.

Members of WEF and/or AWWA are eligible to enjoy reduced registration costs for the full conference program, which includes lunches, networking receptions, technical sessions, and refreshment breaks, if they sign up before Jan. 10.
