Design-Build Conference Educates about Best Practices

Design-Build ConferenceExperienced, knowledgeable, and well-spoken water sector experts will highlight best practices in project delivery during the Design-Build for Water/Wastewater Conference 2017. These experts will discuss the merits of design-build best practices as means to achieve exceptional project outcomes.

Challenges of drought and high-profile public water issues such as that in Flint, Mich., have had large effects on communities and made national headlines. This has put the need for effective and efficient water projects at the center of a national debate about investment priorities. This event was designed to help water sector professionals respond to this movement and improve water and wastewater facilities.

Project owners, utilities, and design-build practitioners can learn the design-build delivery method and determine when it is right for a particular project. The conference is hosted by the Design-Build Institute of America (Washington, D.C.) in collaboration with the Water Environment Federation (Alexandria, Va.), American Water Works Association (Denver), and Water Design-Build Council (Edgewater, Md.).
