Get Inspired with the “Words on Water” Podcast

Words on Water LogoTake interviews with prominent, influential, and interesting water sector professionals with you anywhere. The Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) “Words on Water” podcast series features unique perspectives from those on the forefront of water issues.

Episodes explore the topics of infrastructure, innovation and technology, resource recovery, workforce management and development, research, and public awareness. The debut of the series features Eileen O’Neill, executive director of WEF, who discusses her experience leading the diverse 34,000-member organization and her outlook on the future of water and the water sector.

“Conversations about water are so fascinating, particularly during this transformational time when the water sector faces both difficult challenges and tremendous opportunities,” said Travis Loop, the host of “Words On Water” and WEF’s senior director of communications and public outreach. “WEF looks forward to evolving and growing the podcast so that it is a valuable source of information on the water sector and welcomes listener input to help that process.”

New episodes will be published at least every 2 weeks. Others that will be released include conversations with Kevin Shafer, executive director of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District and chairman of the U.S. Water Alliance (Washington, D.C.), and Rudy Chow, director of Baltimore City Department of Public Works.
