Latest in Membrane Technology Covered at WEF Conference

Membrane Technology ConferenceThe Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) has partnered with the American Water Works Association (Denver), American Membrane Technology Association (Stuart, Fla.), and WateReuse Association (Alexandria, Va.) to host the 2018 Membrane Technology Conference. The educational event explores how the latest developments in membrane technology can enhance water reliability and quality.

In addition to technical sessions, the conference features an exhibit hall, facility tours, and workshops. The conference reveals new directions in water and wastewater treatment technologies as well as desalting and membrane bioreactor applications. The technical program, dedicated to advancing understanding, application, and operation of membrane technology, features such topics as

  • process design,
  • alternative project delivery,
  • responding to challenges,
  • lessons learned from commissioning facilities,
  • innovative systems and processes,
  • energy recovery,
  • research,
  • membrane operation and maintenance,
