Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) Member Associations (MAs) now can get involved in the Leaders Innovation Forum for Technology (LIFT). The joint WEF/Water Environment & Reuse Foundation (WE&RF; Alexandria, Va.) initiative works to expedite the process of adopting new technology and provides current information on the newest water sector trends and data.
In addition to offering the LIFT MA Toolbox, the organizations have launched LIFT Link, an online platform where members can discover, connect, and collaborate with other water professionals on projects and ideas. The toolbox provides resources to help organizations support and accelerate innovation.
MAs also can choose to become LIFT Affiliates to find out about the latest technologies and to collaborate on technology pilot studies and research projects. The Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association and Israel Water Association already have become LIFT Affiliates.
