Get the complete picture of fats, oils, and grease (FOG) during the interactive seminar, Navigating the World of FOG. During the Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) and AZ Water Association event, presentations, exercises, and facilitated discussion will train attendees on the options available for utilities to design and implement their own, site-specific FOG management programs.
The seminar, held April 6–8 at the Residence Inn Tempe (Ariz.) Downtown/University, will cover the topics of chemistry and characteristics of FOG, interceptor and separation device design, case studies, enforcement strategies, kitchen best-management practices, inspection and monitoring, hauling and waste disposal, and innovative approaches for management.
