Participate in Integrated Planning Survey

Representatives from water resource recovery facilities are invited to participate in a national survey about integrated planning for wastewater and stormwater. The Water Environment Research Foundation (Alexandria, Va.) is conducting the survey and plans to use the results to develop a users’ guide.

Communities can use integrated planning to meet the requirements of and provide information for permits and enforcement orders such as the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit. It allows communities to propose sequencing wastewater and stormwater projects and propose using innovative solutions.

The research team devised the online survey to gather a single response from each community. The survey gathers information from communities that have completed integrated plans as well as those that have not considered doing integrated planning. Review the questions before starting the survey.
