StormTVThe Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) wants to share videos highlighting best practices in stormwater management. For the 2017 StormTV Project, WEF will collect and share videos that seek to educate about stormwater.

Through June 12, WEF will accept video entries that exemplify good communication and effective public outreach on stormwater. The competition element of the project returns this year. Judges — primarily members of the Public Communication & Outreach Subcommittee as well as other members of the WEF Stormwater Committee — will identify videos that are effective as well as the elements that contribute to making the videos effective. Judges will choose videos that will receive awards.

WEFTEC 2017 Save the DateSubmissions can cover a range of stormwater-related content including workforce development, water quality trading, research, resiliency, flood mitigation, and green infrastructure. The formats can range from short public service announcements and videos designed to train the public, peers, or professionals to short documentaries showcasing programs and projects. Submissions will be featured on WEF’s YouTube Channel and the Stormwater Report website. Selected videos may be featured in the Stormwater Pavilion during WEFTEC® 2017.

For more information including how to submit, see “2017 StormTV Project” in the Stormwater Report.
