National Biosolids Partnership: Biosolids 101 – Fundamentals of Practice — Oct. 31, 2–3 p.m. (EST)

This webcast covers the historical development and current regulatory compliance requirements of Part 503, Subpart B, of the Biosolids Land Application Rule.

Participants will learn how to navigate through monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements associated with the biosolids land application rule. Speakers include Mike McFarland, Utah State University (Logan); Tom Crawford, now retired from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District; and Rhonda Bowen, Hampton Roads Sanitation District (Virginia Beach, Va.).


Asset Management: Translating Data to Information — Nov. 14, 1–3 p.m. (EST)

The webcast will describe how long an asset should last, how to define value, the business case to replace an asset, asset management programs to prioritize your capital improvement planning, and lessons learned.
