The Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) now offers e-books for the Amazon Kindle and Apple iPad.
The new format enables readers to highlight text, make notes, and find information quickly through global searches. Because e-book devices are lighter and more compact, readers can travel with WEF books more easily.
Technology allows e-books to be accessed across multiple devices such as e-reader, computer, and smartphones, and allows readers with an internet connection to access embedded Web references immediately. E-books can be downloaded immediately upon purchase, which saves time and shipping costs.
