WEF Introduces Sound Off for Clean Water Song Contest

Song contest-- IGThe Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) believes the fight for clean water deserves a fight song.

Bertha Lang, the wife of a WEF member, penned the only known WEF song in 1979. At the time, the organization still was known as the Water Pollution Control Federation and digital recording equipment was not yet widely available. So, WEF has launched a contest for members to come up with a new one. It can be a ballad, a jingle, even a rap – as long as your song reflects WEF’s focus on protecting public health and the environment.

Submit your entry for WEF’s Sound Off for Clean Water Song Contest. The winner, who will be announced in mid-September, receives one free registration for WEFTEC 2017.
