WEF Letter Asks President-Elect Trump To Make Water a Priority

On Dec. 7, the Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) sent a letter to President-elect Donald Trump. The letter provides recommendations for water sector priorities during the next administration.

WEF called upon the president-elect to focus on addressing water sector challenges in the areas of aging water infrastructure, research and development, workforce development, stormwater, affordability, resource recovery, and the energy-water nexus. In the letter, WEF pledged to provide reliable and expert input to the administration to help solve water challenges.
