Envision™ A Sustainable Water Sector
Developed by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI; Washington, D.C.), the Envision™ rating system provides a holistic framework for evaluating and rating the social, environmental, and economic benefits of infrastructure projects of all types and sizes. This webcast will explain how water and wastewater utilities are using the rating system to promote sustainability on their projects.
The webcast will include an overview of ISI, a summary about the structure of the Envision rating system, and a presentation of case studies from New York, California, Nebraska, and Washington state. It also will include a discussion of the Water Environment Federation’s (Alexandria, Va.) Sustainability Community of Practice’s Envision Task Force and the upcoming Envision activities at WEFTEC®.

Linking Stormwater BMP Performance to Receiving Water Protection: Improving Selection and Design
Watershed modelers now have a tool that enables them to connect their models to receiving water models, meteorological data, cost data, and best management practice (BMP) performance data. This webcast will discuss Framework Version 2.0, a software program that makes it easy for modelers to not only develop statistics and charts by directly reading results from models, such as SWMM and CE-QUAL-W2, but also to connect those models.
