More than 17,400 water professionals and 980 exhibiting companies gathered in New Orleans Sept. 29 to Oct. 3 for WEFTEC® 2012, the 85th Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference of the Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.). The world’s largest annual water quality event featured 148 technical sessions, 24 workshops, and seven facility tours. Throughout WEFTEC, the conference and exhibition covered many water-sector topics, with a focus on innovation and WEF’s WATER’S WORTH ITTM message.
