The Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF; Alexandria, Va.) is accepting applications for the 2013 Paul L. Busch Award and the Award for Excellence in Innovation. The deadline to submit applications and nominations for both is June 1.
The Paul L. Busch Award is presented by WERF through the Endowment for Innovation in Applied Water Quality Research to an individual or team to help the award recipient pursue groundbreaking research. The award includes $100,000 to support research in the areas of wastewater, water reuse, biosolids, stormwater, watershed, and other areas, according to a WERF news release.
The Award for Excellence in Innovation is presented to an organization that has made an improvement to wastewater and stormwater collection, storage or treatment operations, facilities, or processes by applying WERF research.
