On Oct. 2, during WEFTEC®2012, the Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) “gavel of leadership” changed hands. Matt Bond, who is now immediate past president, passed the gavel to President Cordell Samuels. Samuels is plant superintendent at the Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant (Durham, Ontario).

In addition, WEF’s House of Delegates confirmed the members of the 2012–2013 Board of Trustees.
