WEFTEC Educates Thousands of Water and Wastewater ProfessionalsMore than 17,400 water professionals and 980 exhibiting companies gathered in New Orleans Sept. 29 to Oct. 3 for WEFTEC® 2012, the 85th Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference of the Water Environment Federation (Alexandria, Va.). The world’s largest annual water quality event featured 148 technical sessions, 24 workshops, and seven facility tours. Throughout WEFTEC, the conference and exhibition covered many water-sector topics, with a focus on innovation and WEF’s WATER’S WORTH ITTM message.
