WEF Resources & Efforts

WEF-Stormwater InstituteOrganizations now can become founding members of the Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) Stormwater Institute (SWI).

SWI was launched at WEFTEC 2015 to focus on addressing runoff management to protect public health and the environment. The institute works with the stormwater sector to identify cross-cutting issues, convene experts to assist with developing solutions, provide insights and leadership to policymakers, and help chart a course for a healthier and sustainable stormwater sector.

Organizations interested in leading the development of stormwater solutions, gaining direct access to other stormwater leaders and policymakers, and advancing tools and techniques needed for the future of stormwater management can join SWI. Those who join by Dec. 31 will be considered founding members and receive such additional benefits as a specially designed logo to identify their SWI membership.

For more information about membership, contact Marlou Gregory, SWI senior advisor, at mgregory@wef.org or 703-684-2400 Ext. 2460. To learn more about SWI programs and initiatives, contact Rebecca Arvin-Colon, manager of stormwater programs, at rarvin-colon@wef.org.
