The Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) Volunteer Service Recognition Program honors members who significantly contribute to the successes and achievements of WEF by serving on a WEF committee of the WEF House of Delegates.
The WEF Committee Leadership Council and WEF House of Delegates started the program to recognize outstanding volunteers. This year as many as 15 members will be recognized through the program and will receive a service recognition pin during WEFTEC® 2019.
“So much of the energy that drives WEF comes from our volunteers, who are as passionate as they are faithful,” said WEF Executive Director Eileen O’Neill. “This program is a token of our deep appreciation for the great impact volunteers have on WEF success.”
Eligible nominees must be a member of WEF for a minimum of 5 years; serve in a leadership role as an active member of a committee, task force, or workgroup; and contribute unique, innovative, or creative perspectives to these groups. Submit nominations through any WEF committees or the WEF House of Delegates by June 30.
