The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released an updated resource, Promoting Technology Innovation for Clean and Safe Water: Water Technology Innovation Blueprint – Version 2, to help integrate innovations into facilities.

Last year, EPA’s Office of Water released the first version of its Blueprint for Integrating Technology Innovation into the National Water Program to highlight EPA’s ideas and plans for advancing technological innovation across various water programs. The new version expands on those ideas and frames a business case for water technology innovation, identifies market opportunities for innovations to help solve water challenges, provides examples of emerging innovation pioneers, identifies tools to assess water risk, and outlines a set of actions for EPA to promote technological innovation for clean and safe water.
