As the flagship Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) Manual of Practice (MOP), Operation of Water Resource Recovery Facilities, MOP 11, Seventh Edition, offers a key resource for wastewater treatment professionals.
“What we do in our work is not just treating water but is looking at how we recover the resources in the water,” said Jeanette Brown, WEF past president. “[MOP 11] really explains the basics of every single unit process that we have.” Brown said she uses the resource to educate college students and to train operators.
