WEF Announces 2015-2016 Board of Trustees

The Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) welcomed the 2015–2016 Board of Trustees at WEFTEC® 2015. During a ceremony on Sept. 29, the WEF gavel of leadership was passed from WEF outgoing President Ed McCormick of Ed McCormick Consulting LLC (Oakland, Calif.) to WEF incoming President Paul Bowen, director of sustainable operations for the Coca-Cola Co. (Atlanta).

During his year-long term as WEF president, Bowen plans to continue helping WEF fulfill its strategic direction and critical objectives to connect water professionals, enrich the expertise of water professionals, increase the awareness of the impact and value of water, and provide a platform for water sector innovation. Bowen said he plans on calling on WEF members to work together as a community of empowered professionals to create a healthy global water environment.
