WEF Encourages Federal and State Participation at Conferences

Residuals and Biosolids 2015The Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) seeks both federal and state representatives to get involved at upcoming conferences.

During WEFTEC® 2014 in New Orleans, participants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Department of Energy attended technology innovation sessions. EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy hosted a panel on climate and resiliency to support the water and wastewater sector. And WEF partnered with EPA, the Association of Clean Water Administrators (Washington, D.C.), and the Environmental Law Institute (Washington, D.C.) to host a state–municipality dialogue on the EPA 10-Year Vision Plan for the 303(d) Program.

Water Energy Conference 2015In addition to participation at WEFTEC 2015, WEF seeks federal and state representatives’ participation at two conferences it is hosting in Washington, D.C.
