On July 31, Water Environment & Technology (WE&T) magazine revealed the winners of its photo contest. During June and July, more than 50 photos of water quality professionals on-the-job were collected and 300 votes were cast for these submissions.

Entries came from wastewater operators, water systems engineers, hydrologists, environmental workers, and various others. They provided a snapshot of a dedicated workforce committed to protecting the environment and public health across the world. One entry came from as far away as Indonesia.

Winners received a WE&T prize pack including technical materials, safety gear, and limited-edition WE&T merchandise. These winners also will appear in a new section of WE&T called “From the Field,” which debuts in the September issue.
