Collections Systems Conference Focuses on Design for a Sustainable Future

Collection Systems ConferenceThe Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.), in cooperation with the Virginia Water Environment Association and the Water Research Foundation (Alexandria, Va.), will host the Collection Systems Conference 2018. The latest in collections systems programming will focus on coastal operations and a sustainable future for these systems.

The event features an opening general session, exhibition, 2 workshops, 2 tours, and 13 technical sessions. According to the event’s technical program, topics covered will include

  • odor control,
  • infiltration and inflow,
  • modeling and system analysis,
  • trenchless technology,
  • sewer assessment and rehabilitation,
  • fats, oils, and grease management,
  • overflows,
  • planning and project delivery,
  • force mains and pump stations,
  • operation and maintenance, and
  • asset management.
