Not all great ideas come from research laboratories. Many come from good old ingenuity, finding new uses for the supplies at hand. If you have come up with an innovative fix for a persistent problem, enter the Operator Ingenuity Contest for a chance to brag about it.
This annual contest, now in its seventh year, offers the opportunity to give a 10-minute presentation at WEFTEC 2018 and to have an article about the solution published in the Operator Ingenuity section of Water Environment & Technology magazine.
All that is needed to enter is five photos and about one page of text describing the problem you faced and the fix you found as well as transferability, safety elements, materials used, and cost.
