Putting Water to the Taste Test

Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting event ranks tap and bottled water
 

HighlightsFebruary1Both tap and bottled water were put to the test at the 26th annual Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting event. Judges tried more than 100 water samples from across the U.S. and around the globe in one of the world’s largest water tasting competitions. Judges, trained by the event’s “watermaster,” ranked water and the public got to choose a people’s choice winner.

Don’t Flush the Baby (Wipes!)

HighlightsFebruary3Steve Anderson, a water resources analyst with Clean Water Services (Hillsboro, Ore.), wrote and recorded a lighthearted song called “Don’t Flush the Baby (Wipes!)” The song conveys the importance of not flushing baby wipes, cleaning pads, and paper towels.
