2017 WEF Fellow Eleanor Allen Increases Access to Sanitation and the Water Profession

Students from Singapore Take Top Prize at International SJWP Competition

A team from Singapore won the 2018 Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP). “The project developed a leading-edge, inexpensive, and widely applicable method to clean water,” according to the SJWP jury in its citation about the project.


WEF Fellow Equips New Generation of Professionals with Knowledge

April Z. Gu has loved water since she was very young. Combined with her inherent curiosity and a self-proclaimed drive to “get to the bottom of everything,” this love led Gu to research water topics.

Gu’s contributions to water research and to the Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) earned her a spot among the 2017 WEF Fellows.
