Submit Volunteer Service Recognition Nominations by June 30

The Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) Volunteer Service Recognition Program will recognize members who significantly contribute to the successes and achievements of the organization. The program will honor as many as 15 members who have served on a WEF committee or in the WEF House of Delegates.

“So much of the energy that drives WEF comes from our volunteers, who are as passionate as they are faithful,” said WEF Executive Director Eileen O’Neill. “This program is a token of our deep appreciation for the great impact volunteers have on WEF success.”

Submit nominations by June 30 to any of WEF’s committees or the WEF House of Delegates. A selection committee consisting of members from the WEF Committee Leadership Council and the House of Delegates will select recipients who will receive a service recognition pin during WEFTEC 2018.

To be eligible for the recognition, nominees must

  • be a member of WEF for a minimum of 5 years;
  • serve in a leadership or substantial service role as an active member of a committee, task force, or workgroup; and
  • contribute unique, innovative, or creative perspectives to a committee, task force, or workgroup.
