If you can’t attend WEFTEC 2018, the Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) is offering a sample of the conference through an online livestream. Watch the Opening General Session as it occurs, Oct. 1 at 8:30 a.m. central time.

Keynote speaker Kevin Brown, author of The Hero Effect, will share ideas, strategies, and principles for becoming a hero. He will discuss how more water sector professionals can join the ranks of everyday heroes who show up and give their best when it matters most.

Brown’s inspirational message follows remarks from 2017–2018 WEF President Jenny Hartfelder and WEF Executive Director Eileen O’Neill. The opening remarks will showcase the relaunch of WEF’s popular Water’s Worth It™ grassroots public awareness campaign.
