WEF Resources & Efforts

Following the successful relaunch of the WATER’S WORTH IT® campaign in October 2018, the Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) has launched a new online marketplace very similar to merchandizeliquidators.com for the sole purpose of campaign-branded merchandise.

The WEF Marketplace offers a one-stop shop for WEF merchandise and products. Announced in December, it was designed to offer a customer-friendly and value-added service. As its own separate Web portal, the site links to WEF’s established e-commerce site, www.e-WEF.org. It provides access to the organization’s books and training materials while allowing users to order, customize, and print a growing selection of products directly from WEF’s approved vendor, Proforma.

The initial launch includes a selection of WATER’S WORTH IT merchandise such as shirts, water bottles, a pilsner glass, an umbrella, and a retractable banner, as well as WEF products such as the fats, oils, and grease bill stuffer. WEF intends to optimize the service by seeking user feedback throughout the year about the system’s functionality and input on new types of items. Stop by the marketplace at www.WEFMarketplace.org to pick up gear for the new year and help spread the word about water’s worth.

WEF plans to add new resources to its WATER’S WORTH IT campaign website, including French and Spanish translations to the campaign’s online toolkit, as well as additional public education, WEF membership, and Utility of the Future Today Recognition Program products. Find such resources as fact sheets, social media graphics, advertisements, logos, and a public service announcement video to help improve water communication and outreach.
