WEF Offers Scholarships To Help Young Professionals Attend Fly-In

On April 3 and 4, water professionals from across the nation will gather in Washington, D.C. to attend the 2019 National Water Policy Fly-in. The Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) wants to give young professionals a platform to deliver a message to government officials: that sound policy for and robust investment in water are critical for the U.S.

The National Water Policy Fly-In Young Professional Scholarship  helps WEF’s young professional members participate in the highest levels of policy advocacy and build professional connections with other attendees. Those with active young professional membership who are age 35 or younger and have 5 years or less experience in the water sector are invited to apply by March 22. WEF will select 30 applicants to receive the $100 scholarship that covers the registration fee. Interested applicants are also encouraged to contact their local WEF Member Association to join their Fly-In delegation.
