WEF Wants To Celebrate Your Ingenious Fixes at WEFTEC® 2016

OpIngenCrest-grungedThe Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) is hosting the fifth annual Ingenuity Contest. The competition recognizes that not all innovations come from the research laboratory. Some innovations come from the need to tackle a persistent problem with nothing more than the materials at hand and a hearty dose of ingenuity.

The imaginative, inventive, and effective ways you’ve created to overcome pesky problems will be showcased during WEFTEC® 2016. Selected inventors will be invited to give 10-minute presentations.

The competition is open to all clever ideas including those related to treatment processes, collection systems, laboratory practices, stormwater handling, administration, and human resources.

Even if you’re not sure your innovation qualifies, submit it. If you can’t attend WEFTEC, submit your idea because it will be shared with many people.

Use the Ingenuity Content submission portal to submit a 1-page description of the problem and your solution as well as any photos.

The deadline is May 26.
