WE&T Earns Three Awards

The Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) magazine Water Environment & Technology (WE&T) received three awards in 2012. As WEF’s flagship magazine, WE&T publishes technical information on what water quality professionals need to know.

The magazine received the 2012 Magnum Opus Silver Award for Best Engineering/Construction Publication in the 2012 Print Industry Publication category from Content Marketing Institute (Cleveland) and Content Wise (Phoenix).

WE&T also received a TABBIE honorable mention, ranked 16 out of the top 25, in the Best Single Issue category from Trade Association Business Publications International.

And the WE&T article “Ironing Out the Impacts of Industrial Wastewater” received the Bronze Azbee award in the Technical Article category for the Central–Southeast Region from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (Wheaton, Ill.).

“We are very proud of our WE&T team,” said WEF Executive Director Jeff Eger. “Their outstanding work and commitment to excellence make WE&T the premier magazine in water quality.”

This year continues the tradition of recognition for the magazine, which received five awards in 2010 and two awards in 2010. Read more about these previous awards in the Highlights article, “WE&T Receives Awards from American Society of Business Publication Editors.”
