In Memoriam: James (Jim) Miller Contributes 30 Years to Operations Challenge

James “Jim” E. Miller, a member of the Water Environment Federation and Central States Water Environment Association (CSWEA) since 1977, died May 21, 2018, at the age of 62.

Colleagues relied on Miller not only as a source of knowledge in the water sector, but also as a mentor and proponent for operators.


Students Walk Away from Design Competition with Real-world Skills

At WEFTEC® 2018, teams from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver) and University of Colorado, Boulder, walked away from the Student Design Competition as winners. The competition, a Water Environmental Federation (Alexandria, VA) Students and Young Professionals Committee program, provides students with real-world design experience.
