Achievements

The Littleton/Englewood, Colo., Wastewater Treatment Plant received National Biosolids Partnership (NBP; Alexandria, Va.) Gold-level recognition for its biosolids management program (BMP). The plant’s first verification audit was completed Jan. 3. It is the first of the new class of BMP/environmental management system trainees to achieve this distinction.

In addition, Knoxville (Tenn.) Utilities Board and Camden County (N.J.) Municipal Utilities Authority both completed interim audits of their BMP programs to maintain their NBP certification and Platinum-level status.
