Webcast Showcases Utility of the Future Innovations

Better and Smarter: Technology Innovation for the Utility of the Future

In addition to treating and discharging wastewater, utility managers now look for ways to optimize efficiency, recover valuable resources, and enhance contributions to healthy watersheds and their communities. This relies on water resource recovery facilities to employ innovative solutions to improve efficiency and move past limitations of conventional technologies and approaches to become Utilities of the Future. This webcast describes how two leading clean water utilities are changing the ways they address issues ranging from sewer overflow control and nutrients to groundwater replenishment.

The Water Environment Federation (Alexandria, Va.) joins the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (Washington, D.C.), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, WateReuse (Alexandria, Va.), and the Water Environment & Reuse Foundation (Alexandria, Va.) to host this fifth webcast in a series showcasing innovative ways utilities are becoming Utilities of the Future.
